Unda

In early November 2017, it was announced that director Khalid Rahman will be directing his next starring Mammootty and the film was to be titled as Unda.

 A title look poster was released on 21 September 2018.After casting Mammootty in the lead role, later the team had announced that actors Shine Tom Chacko, Jacob Gregory and Arjun Ashokan will also be joining the cast. By mid 2018, actors Dileesh Pothan, Sudhi Koppa and others were also announced as part of the film. The lead actress for the film is yet to be announced.Principal photography began in October 2018. The first schedule of the shoot began on 26 October at the Police Training Camp in Kannur. The team then shot in other location across Nilambur, Kasargod, etc.A later schedule was planned to be shot in Chhattisgarh marking it the first Malayalam movie to be shot at the location.
